EXTREME

40m sailing yacht Extreme, designed by the renowned Ginton Naval Architects and built by the Turkish shipyard Mengi Yay is a spectacular sloop, with launch in 2013. S/Y Extreme features a lovely interior by world-renowned Guido de Groot. The 40m luxury yacht Extreme provides 12 guests with six stunning guest staterooms forward of the engine room, looked after by a crew of 7.

There is a spacious saloon on the main deck with a dining area and a semi-open wheelhouse, while the aft deck features a large seating area with a bar, dining table and lounging space. When the transom door is opened, part of the aft deck can be lowered to create an expansive swim platform and watersports area.

Boasting a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure, Extreme is run by twin Caterpillar C18 engines, delivering her a maximum speed of 14 knots when not under sail and a cruising speed of 13 knots. The mainsail of this magnificent vessel is furled into the boom and an aluminium mast towers 52 metres above the waterline. The 40m Extreme is built to RINA class and Maltese commercial classification.
