KAHALANI super 2010

The 55.05 motoryacht Kahalani was launched in early 2010 by Feadship’s Koninklijke De Vries Scheepsbouw shipyard.

Kahalani is a classic Feadship super yacht with her strongly raised bow and subtle and considered design presence. However, with Kahalani superyacht Feadship have incorporated a range of exterior yacht styling elements. For instance, a design enthusiast will note the yacht’s beautifully flowing and rounded shapes as seen on her dodgers, or the details in the elegantly proportioned recessed window structures.

Other design and build detailing includes the luxury yacht’s teak cap rail – which runs over all of her decks – as well as the integrated stainless steel metal work and railing. In addition, dark grey symmetry has been employed along the yachts superstructure in a way that pulls all design elements together.

Motor yacht Kahalani has wooden flooring throughout her interior along with wax finished Makassar ebony with sycamore inlays. Added is a collection of custom built loose furniture, light fixtures, and special wall finishes. The yacht boasts an inspired interior design and décor by Rémi Tessier which is energetic, eclectic and interesting. Designer Rémi Tessier comments that that he is ‘an audacious and eclectic creator who is always on the move’.
