Codecasa luxury yacht KATHRYN, also known as HULL C127, was launched in 2023 and was based on the Codecasa 58 model. The yacht measures 58m/190ft with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. Her Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) helps her achieve a top speed of 20 knots at light displacement, making her one of the fastest yachts in her size category. The accommodation sleeps up to 12 guests in six en-suite cabins, with a crew of 13 on hand to take care of every little detail.

EXTERIOR

From the lower deck swim platform guests can ascend the stairs to reach the main deck aft, where a sofa lines the stern and additional loose furnishings create a casual setting for coffee mornings and socialising outdoors in the shade.

A starboard stairway leads to the upper deck aft, where sun loungers are placed along the stern and a grand alfresco dining table to seat all 12 guests resides in the shade of the sundeck overhang. Side walkways connect to the foredeck, which has two curving sofas and drinks tables for taking in the sunset views in comfort.

The sundeck can be accessed via a stairway to port from the upper deck aft, or by the interior stairway and lift/elevator. The sundeck aft is fitted with sunbeds, forward of which is a casual lounge of sofas, armchairs and drinks tables placed in the sunshine. This sitting area is ideally placed near the wet bar, where there are stools for three guests. Heading past the gym, the raised forward section boasts a large swimming pool of 3.5x3m (11×9.8ft), either side of which are more plush sunpads.

INTERIOR

On the lower deck, the crew accommodation and mess is placed forward, followed by the guest accommodation amidships, the engine room behind and the beach club/tender garage in the stern.

The main deck forward hosts the Master suite with the rest of the guest accommodation behind. Amidships is the galley and main foyer, followed by the formal dining area and main salon, which are combined into one large open-plan space. The formal dining area seats up to 12 guests in an elegant environment filled with light, and the widescreen TV acts as a partition between the lounge. Sofas and armchairs create an inclusive environment around a pair of coffee tables to create the perfect atmosphere for close conversation or a film.

The upper deck wheelhouse has additional seating and a table where guests can relax with reading material while benefiting from plenty of natural light and excellent forward views. The Captain’s cabin and staff cabin are behind, then the foyer and pantry and finally the sky lounge, which is designed for entertaining. Two seating areas are placed on both sides of the room, a widescreen TV is mounted on the forward wall and the aft starboard corner has a large wet bar. A drinks/games table with four chairs is adjacent, close to the glass sliding doors out onto the upper deck aft.

Lastly, the sundeck has a spacious gym where guests can exercise with magnificent views of the surroundings and in close proximity to the swimming pool and sunpads. A day head and lift (elevator) are also accessible on this floor for convenience.

A pair of Caterpillar 3516E 2525 kW engines give a top speed of 21 knots at light displacement, and when cruising at 12 knots HULL C127 has a globe-trotting cruising range of 6,000 nautical miles.
