‘OK’

The 146m/479ft mega expedition yacht OK was launched in 2022 following a three-year conversion at the Karmarine shipyard in Turkey. She was originally the transportation ship SUPER SERVANT 3, built at Japanese shipyard Oshima Shipbuilding in 1982. Her new exterior experience was designed by Timur Bozca, winner of Young Designer of the Year 2015, and she accommodated up to 20 guests along with her expert crew.

EXTERIOR

The main deck aft is the stand-out feature for explorer yacht OK: The deck is semi-submersible by taking on ballast and later ejecting it to refloat the deck above the waterline. This technique means that sailing vessels such as the planned 46m/151ft sailing yacht and seaplane can easily be launched and stored back on board at the end of the day.

There is a 40-tonne crane along the stern to assist in the launch and retrieval of less manoeuvrable water toys, and land vehicles can also be driven on board from the aft, with a set of steps leading from the lower deck swim platform.

The foredeck offers a spacious outdoor social area where sun loungers, sofa seating and alfresco dining facilities can be placed around the edge to enjoy panoramic views of the surroundings.

INTERIOR

Few details have been revealed about the interior layout, however, there is an indoor swimming pool, botanical gardens and four aquariums among the unique features onboard.

A pair of Stork 6TM410 engines each producing 4,250 HP ensure that she can cruise far and wide.
