Following a great success at the 2012 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, the Azimut|Benetti Group will be attending its second show of the season in the United States, one of the Italian company’s most important markets. A total number of 20 Azimut|Benetti boats will be exhibited at the 2013 Miami International Boat Show (MIBS) that will run from 14 February. These will include four models brand new to the American market constructed by Azimut Yachts and Benetti: Azimut 54, Azimut 55S, Magellano 43 Fly as well as the breathtaking Benetti Classic Supreme 132 yacht Petrus II.

Not only will there be an admirable range of boats on show, but also a wonderful surprise for American visitors, in particular for anyone who enjoys brilliant performance in a relaxed and sociable setting.
Making its international debut in Miami will be the Verve Outboard by Atlantis, the outboard version of the elegant and lively walkaround that is ideal for comfortable, safe seagoing and that delivers plenty of thrills too. The three 300 HP Mercury Verado engines offer even better performance and all the advantages of manoeuvrability and easy maintenance that are typical of outboard engines.12 metres of pure adrenaline and glamour, with exactly the same ‘Verve’ comfort and style as before, most importantly below deck.

The other under-75 feet stars on the “catwalk” for this season will be – for Azimut Yachts: Azimut 40S, Azimut 62S, Azimut 72S, Azimut 40, Azimut 45, Azimut 48, Azimut 60, Azimut 64, Azimut 70, Magellano 43 and Magellano 50; and for Atlantis: Atlantis 38, Atlantis 44, Atlantis 48 and Atlantis 58.
The most spectacular megayacht reflecting Benetti’s style will be the Benetti Classic Supreme 132 superyacht Petrus II – Benetti’s new gem, the first Classic model boat, which will be premiering in the USA at the 2013 Miami Boat Show.
Petrus II yacht is a new development in the exterior profile of Benetti yachts that has been masterfully interpreted by the boat’s designer, Righini, in full keeping with the rest of the Benetti 93 to 145 foot yacht range. The new Benetti Classic Supreme 132 is 40.24 metres in length with a maximum width of 8.28 metres.

The design of the 40-metre luxury yacht Petrus II was inspired by the need to offer the market a boat that was even more competitive and at the same time that demonstrated Benetti’s constant innovation. The owner’s terrace, double spa pool (on the upper bow deck as well as on the sun deck) and the large outside stairways are just a few examples of the innovations.
Classic Supreme 132 yacht Petrus II will be joined in the USA by the Custom line model, mega yacht Diamonds Are Forever.

The Group’s strength in the American market is due to its longstanding, extensive network of dealers and assistance centres, and it showed that it intends to develop this further by strengthening its agreement with its long-term partner MarineMax at the last International Boat Show in Fort Lauderdale, which also took place in Florida in October 2012.
