MDL Marinas is pleased to report that all three of their Thames marinas – Bray, Windsor as well as Penton Hook – have achieved the Five Gold Anchors status from The Yacht Harbour Association. The assessments comprised a mystery shop, berth holders survey and an audit against a wide choice of criteria, providing an impartial review of the services and facilities available.

Mike Gates, General Manager of MDL’s Thames marinas, said: “We are delighted to have achieved the highest standard possible from The Yacht Harbour Association, and by gaining a Five Gold Anchor standard across all three of our Thames marinas is outstanding! This is a huge achievement and demonstrates the consistent quality MDL Marinas offers.”

The scheme has been designed by The Yacht Harbour Association, with contribution from the RYA, to help boat owners make an informed decision on where to berth. Bray, Windsor and Penton Hook marinas scored highly for their design, construction and operation and have all been highlighted as credible, quality marinas.
