Marina Real Juan Carlos I to keep the same rates in 2013

The 2013 rates for vessels at the splendid Mediterranean superyacht marina, Marina Real Juan Carlos I, will remain the same as in 2012, in order to maintain the competitiveness of the marina.

The beautiful Spanish superyacht marina, Marina Real Juan Carlos I, has announced that the rates for vessels will remain unchanged in 2013. Thus, for boats of up to 8 metres in length price shall be 7,50 EUR/day, up to 12 meters the cost is 16 euros per day and up to 20 meters will be 35 Euro per day.

Discounts are offered by advance payment that can reach up to 35% by six months or more and a cumulative 5% by direct debit.

This pricing policy is intended to maintain the competitiveness of the Marina, in its bid to become a reference marina in the Mediterranean, and center of hibernation for great length boats.

Likewise, within the Plan of uses of the Marina, the creation of an industrial-nautical use in Marina South area is considered, in order to promote the services and maintenance of sector large vessels in the Region of Valencia. One of the projects is the installation of a dry dock in that space.

Currently, the Marina is with an average occupation of 70 per cent, thus confirming the path to sustained growth since the end of the America’s Cup, when just 14 boats were moored at North Marina.

Marina Real Juan Carlos I has 643 berths from 8 to 150 meters in external marinas and 42 berths for vessels of over 25 metres in the central pontoon.
