Seattle will open its doors to the Seattle Boats Afloat Show, running from September 12 to 16, 2012. The visitors will be given a great possibility to see a large amount of new and used yachts, along with rich program.

Sunny September in Seattle will see the spectacular Seattle Boats Afloat Show, providing its visitors with the best of boating. Taking place on amazing South Lake Union, there will be a large number of different yacht brands, over 150 new as well as used yachts in every size, along with price range and boating equipment of all kinds.

New for 2012 will be the extended weeknight hours and Boater’s Happy Hour.  Weekdays the show will now be open an extra hour. Boater’s Happy Hour is 5-7pm and tickets are half price. Just $6!

Seattle Boats Afloat Show attractions include:
•    Center for Wooden Boats kids toy boat building Saturday and Sunday
•    Kids free sailing lessons, Saturday and Sunday
•    Free sailboat rides every day
•    Floating beer garden

Whether one is an experienced sailor or just getting his feet wet, he can climb aboard, kick some anchors and check out all the variety of yachts from sport boats to sailboats, cabin cruisers to mega-yachts and much more.

What: South Lake Union Boats Afloat Show

When: Wednesday September 12th – Sunday September 16th, 2012

Hours: Weekdays 11am – 7pm
Weekends 10am – 6pm

Where: South Lake Union in Seattle

Tickets: $12 for adults / $5 for kids 12-17 (kids under 11 are free).
$18 for a multi-day pass.
Weekdays 5-7 pm: $6
e-Tickets can be purchased online

Getting there: Getting to the show is easy with several parking lots near the South Lake Union show or it is advised to park in one of the downtown lots and take the Seattle Streetcar which stops right in front of the show.

FREE SHUTTLE runs every day between South Lake Union and CenturyLink Field every 30 minutes.
