Two 50m Series megayachts from Christensen Shipyards have been commissioned.
The two 50m megayachts named Perfect Pursuit and Deputy Dog will feature a five guest staterooms layout plus the owner’s suite. Their exteriors will be made of fiberglass and will feature a raised forward full-shear bulwark and vertical pilothouse windows that debuted on the Megayacht Casino Royal. In contrast, the superyachts in the 50m series launched before Casino Royale had swept-back pilothouse windows. The interior woodwork and stonework will be handled by Christensen’s in-house departments.
Like the previous megayachts in the Christensen 50m series, the two new commissioned yacht Perfect Pursuit and Deputy Dog yacht will most likely boast MTU 12V 4000 Series engines, enabling an approximate top speed of 17½ knots and a cruise speed of 12 knots. The range at the cruising speed of 12 knots should be around 4,000 nautical miles. Christensen motor yachts Perfect Pursuit and Deputy Dog will fly the American flag.
