2011 was a very remarkable year for the Florida based studio Boksa Marine Design. Here are some of their notable achievements from the past twelve months.
25M Patrol Craft designed by Boksa Marine Design for Hann Powerboats
Yacht Design & Engineering
BMD worked on the design and development of the Expedition Yacht CS 85 with the US yacht builder Custom Steel Boats.
Commercial Marine Design & Engineering
BMD teamed with Kona Catamaran to develop the Passenger Catamaran Yacht KonaCat 85. Through a project with the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Maritime Administration Agency (MARAD), Boksa Marine Design is providing ongoing engineering services to the Maine Maritime Academy. The studio joined with Hann Powerboats to develop a new 25M Fast Patrol yacht and designed workhorse boat with Workskiff.
Industry News
BMD was one of six designers included in the Q8 2011 Design Debate regarding ‘Online Presence and Social Media’ with Superyacht Design Magazine. The studio released new website in 2011 and was nominated for the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s ‘Up and Comers’ Award.

BMD exhibited at the 2011 International Workboat Show and at the 2011 International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference (IBEX Show).
