Marine Travelift has named Erich Pfeifer as president and chief operating officer succeeding Steve Pfeifer, who will remain Marine Travelift’s CEO and continue to serve the company in a strategic and advisory role.
Marine Travellift names Erich Pfeifer as president and COO
Pfeifer joined Marine Travelift in 2003 as sales manager and was subsequently promoted to sales director of the Americas and then vice president of Business Development and Marketing. He will lead the company’s worldwide growth efforts and brings great understanding of the industry, backed by his engineering background, and his experience and familiarity with company operations.
The Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, US-based company Marine Travelift manufactures mobile boat hoists, marine forklifts, self-propelled transporters and other related marine lifting products. Marine Travelift constructed the world’s largest boat hoist, the 1000C which can lift a vessel weighing up to 1000 tonnes.
