The construction of Moonen’s brand-new 25.20-metre high-speed aluminium motor yacht, the Moonen 82 Alu got underway in March 2011. As you can see from the images the building process for the hull of the motor yacht Moonen 82 Alu is proceeding apace at the yard in Den Bosch (‘s-Hertogenbosch).

Creating a perfectly shaped hull is crucial for this exciting yacht as she has been designed and optimised to reach some 25 knots. The design for the hull was the subject of extensive research work, including lines models. We will keep you further updated on her progress in the months leading up to the Moonen 82 Alu’s scheduled launch in 2012.
The first Moonen 82 Alu (Building Number 196) will be capable of reaching an impressive 25 knots and very efficient at low speeds she will have an exceptional range for a fast yacht, able to cruise much further than vessels of an equivalent size and speed.
The Moonen 82 Alu will combine a high degree of displacement comfort.
