Built by Ares Yachts in Turkey, sailing yacht SIMENA is an impressive 62 metre steel‑hulled performance ketch launched in July 2025. Conceived by Taka Yacht Design with interior spaces by Design Unlimited, she blends timeless clipper‑inspired elegance and modern technological sophistication. Launched as the shipyard’s flagship, she offers accommodation for up to 12 guests, cared for by a crew of nine, and delivers both responsive sailing and luxurious comfort.

SIMENA’s exterior recreates the romance of classic ketches—complete with a full bowsprit, clipper lines and mahogany steering wheels—yet she sails with the precision of a modern vessel . Across her generous teak‑decked aft cockpit sits a Jacuzzi nestled among sunpads, shaded by the flybridge overhang. Forward, a private lounge offers calm retreats and commanding sea views. The flybridge itself is accessible via an elegant automatic sliding glass companionway; twin helm stations flare forward, accompanied by an expansive sunpad aft ideal for lounging beneath the sky.

Within, Design Unlimited’s refined interior evokes a “timeless sanctuary” using a neutral palette woven with walnut, leathers, textured fabrics, stone and antiqued brass accents.
