SORVIND

Sailing yacht SØRVIND from South African shipyard Southern Yachts is an SW105 model measuring 34.59m/113’6ft and delivered in 2022. She is constructed with a carbon fibre hull and GRP superstructure with naval architecture from Farr Yacht Design while the interior and exterior styling comes from Nauta Yachts S.r.l. The accommodation sleeps up to eight guests in four en-suite cabins, while a crew of five ensures that everything runs at peak efficiency on every cruise.

EXTERIOR

Above deck, the cockpit offers an L-shaped sofa on both sides which each merge into an aft sunbed. The dual helm controls are behind, and the foredeck has been left clear for crew use. While at anchor, the space can be used for sunbathing, lounging, exercise and observation of the local wildlife and scenery.

INTERIOR

The lower deck layout places the Master suite in the bow followed by the VIP stateroom behind to port and the galley to starboard.

The interior salon and dining area are amidships, the latter placed to port and consisting of an aft-facing L-shaped sofa, a large table and movable chairs. To starboard, the salon provides C-shaped seating around a coffee table, a widescreen TV and an aft stairway that leads up to the cockpit.

Behind the salon are the twin cabins to port and starboard respectively, then the crew accommodation with mess and laundry facilities and lastly the tender garage in the stern.

A Cummins QSB 6.7 Diesel engine producing 1,939kW and 2,600 HP will provide power in windless conditions.
