PROJECT JADE

Luxury yacht PROJECT JADE, also known as HULL YN 20350, comes from Dutch shipyard Heesen and is the third hull from its 50m/164ft semi-displacement class. The all-aluminium superyacht features athletic exterior styling from Omega Architects and a monochrome contemporary interior from the team at Cristiano Gatto Design. The accommodation sleeps up to 12 guests over five en-suite cabins, while the professional crew of nine keeps everything running seamlessly behind the scenes. Delivery in 2024.

EXTERIOR

The transom door to the beach club folds down to make a spacious terrace beside the water, welcoming guests and visitors arriving by tender. Two stairways ascend to the main deck aft, where there is an oversized sunbed along the stern to serve multiple guests. This joins into a port corner sofa and starboard alfresco dining area, both placed under the shelter of the upper deck overhang. A starboard stairway connects to the upper deck aft, and a forward starboard stairway grants access to the foredeck.

The upper deck aft has a circular alfresco dining table and a pair of corner sofas and coffee tables along the stern which create a symmetrical setting. The foredeck is fitted with a C-shaped sofa and coffee table for admiring the views along with drinks and conversation.

A port stairway from the upper deck aft leads to the sundeck, where guests are greeted by sunpads and a raised circular Jacuzzi aft, a wet bar amidships to starboard and a large alfresco dining table opposite, and forward there are three large sofas and two coffee tables placed in the sunshine.

INTERIOR

The beautiful interior styling uses cool silvery white contrasted by charcoal grey as well as matte and gloss black with accents in stainless steel. Large windows let the natural light flood into the social spaces, further enhancing the sense of space within.

On the lower deck, the crew accommodation is forward along with the mess and laundry facilities. The guest accommodation is amidships, accessed via a separate stairway to maintain guest privacy. The engine room is behind, followed by the tender garage with water toys storage, and the stern has a beach club furnished with oversized armchairs, a sofa and stools as well as a coffee table and wall-mounted widescreen TV. The transom door folds down to become a spacious swim platform and sunbathing terrace.

The main deck layout places the Master suite forward, then the galley to port and the Master office to starboard. This is followed by the main foyer complete with day head, and the aft hosts the formal dining area and main salon. The formal dining area seats up to 12 guests around a large circular table, then there is a corridor which leads through to the aft main salon which is furnished with a curving sofa and coffee table to port, plus two chairs and a side table to starboard with a wall-mounted widescreen TV forward and glass sliding doors behind to the main deck aft.

The upper deck provides a sofa in the bridge for guests to use as a cosy corner for reading and conversation. Doors on both sides provide direct access to the foredeck, and behind the bridge is the Captain’s cabin and crew stairway down to the galley. The foyer with day head follows, then the skylounge where there is a bar and a curving sofa with coffee table to starboard, while the port side has two chairs and a drinks table beside the near full-height windows, and a widescreen TV on the aft wall, with glass sliding doors leading out onto the upper deck aft.

A pair of MTU 16V 4000 M65L (IMO Tier III) engines produce a maximum speed of 23 knots and a range of 3,100 nautical miles at an economical 11 knots.
