BOOK ENDS

The 2022 50m motor yacht BOOK ENDS (also known as Project Sapphire) was built by the Dutch shipyard Heesen with design from Omega Architects. Designed with both performance and the environment in mind, she features a fast top speed of 23 knots, a shallow draft for exploring hard to reach places, as well as ‘green oceanic’ engines to help reduce NOx emissions. Accommodation is for 12 guests, with a 7-person crew to look after every detail.

EXTERIOR

Her lower deck features a large sunbed areas, directly overlooking the swimming platform below so that guests can relax and watch the water activities. The middle deck aft has a large seating area with couches and coffee tables, as well as a neighbouring circular dining table. Unobstructed side walkways lead to the spacious foredeck, which provides more seating.

Above on the fabulous sundeck, there is a large circular jacuzzi placed aft, with accompanying sunbeds, creating a perfect place to take a dip and then dry off in the sun. Amidships is a full wet bar to the starboard side complete with bar stool seating, as well as a dining table to port for enjoying al fresco meals. Forward is a large lounge area, with couches on three sides surrounding a coffee table, an ideal spot for enjoying a drink after dinner.

INTERIOR

Interior design is by Cristiano Gatto, and is a lovely combination of crisp white, elegant woodwork and neutral tone furnishings, creating an elegant, relaxed atmosphere. Her main deck salon features a unique curved shaped, flowing from the living room aft to the amidships dining area, and complemented by a curved couch and circular table.

The wheelhouse deck salon features another comfortable lounge area, complete with bar seating and games table. A beautiful glass stairwell sits amidships and conveniently connects the decks.

2x MTU 16V 4000 M65L engines, providing a top speed of 23 knots and a cruising speed of 11 knots.
