RJ 130

Motor yacht RJ 130 was built by the Italian shipyard Cantieri delle Marche and launched in early 2021. Her exteriors and elegant interiors were designed by the renowned Francesco Paszkowski designer, while her naval architecture is by the respected Hydro Tec studio. The yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests in 5 ensuite cabins.

EXTERIOR

The main deck aft provides a shaded social area with a curving sofa facing aft, another sofa lining the stern and a coffee table between them. Two stairways lead down to the lower deck swim platform for easy access to the tender and water toys, and a starboard stairway leads to the upper deck aft.

The main deck port walkway leads around to stairs up to the Portuguese deck, where a large sofa and drinks table makes a comfortable place to sit back and enjoy the views, with a sofa/sunbed farther forward to lie back and savour the sunshine. The upper deck aft is used to store the tender, which is safely launched and retrieved using a Davit crane concealed on the sundeck above. The alfresco dining area off the sky lounge is a desirable space to dine outdoors in the shade.

A starboard stairway leads to the sundeck, which has a sunbed in the port corner and space to starboard for outdoor exercise. A Jacuzzi is placed in the centre, forward of which is an alfresco dining table with barbeque grill and bar facilities to port. The forward section is shaded by the hardtop and provides an abundance of seating around the edge that can also be used as a pace to nap out of the sun. the port side has two drinks tables, while the starboard side has a large table more suited to alfresco dining.

INTERIOR

The beautiful interiors use a combination of polished, bleached and brushed oak with rosewood and leather, with lacquered panels for the ceilings. The marble used throughout all the bathrooms is Jerusalem Stone, which produces a beautiful colour harmony and contrast between light and dark tones. The smoky glass was selected for the wardrobe doors and side table tops, and extra clear glass for the lobby doors and shelves in the salon. Minotti, Poltrona Frau and Flexform are some of the Italian brand names to be found furnishing the salons and bedrooms, with sofas, chairs and coffee tables, while Francesco Paszkowski and Margherita Caspirini produced the bespoke beds, bedside tables and other accessories.

The lower deck layout places the crew accommodation forward with the guest accommodation amidships and accessed via a separate stairway for privacy and reduced disturbances. The engine room is behind, and storage for the water toys is placed in the stern.

The Master suite is forward on the main deck with the galley behind to port and the main foyer to starboard. This is followed by the formal dining area, behind which is the main salon which combined together form one large social space. Two sofas and a coffee table are placed beneath the port windows, while to starboard two armchairs and a side table create a more intimate space for close conversation.

The upper deck has a sofa in the helm station for guests to watch the action or make use of the brightly lit interior for reading undisturbed. The Captain’s cabin is immediately behind, followed by the foyer which leads into the sky lounge. a circular table in the port corner makes a place to gather around for games and drinks, or for more casual meals indoors while still having the views and the fresh air. An L-shaped sofa is placed along the port wall and a coffee table and armchair complete this setting. As with the main deck salon, the sky lounge has two armchairs and a side table along the port side, with a widescreen TV for entertainment in the evening and to make the time fly by while cruising between destinations.

Twin MTU 10V 2000 M72 engines give a top speed of 14.5 knots with a range of 5,500 nautical miles at 9 knots.
