A 50m striking, modern motor yacht with cool design and amenities

OLOKUN

Motor yacht OLOKUN is the third hull of the S501 series, built by the Italian shipyard TANKOA YACHTS and launched in early autumn 2020. The yacht measures 49.99m (164’0″) and was designed by Francesco Paszkowski with naval architecture from Name Studio and interior décor by Casa Dio Miami/London.

EXTERIOR

The black semi-displacement hull and metallic grey superstructure have a special coating that reduces the hull temperature by up to 10°C/50°F.

The exterior layout is expected to be similar to her sisterships, which have the following:

The main deck aft features sofa seating and tables for casual dining and lounging shaded by the upper deck overhang. Sunbeds are placed along the stern where guests can rest with uninterrupted views. Two stairways lead down to the lower deck, where a fold-down swim platform provides a large space for sunbathing beside the water.

The upper deck aft has an alfresco dining table in the centre of the shade, with sofas lining the stern and drinks tables for outdoor dining in the fresh sea air. The foredeck area has a C-shaped sofa and table for alfresco dining while enjoying the forward views.
The sundeck has sun loungers along the stern and forward sunbeds with a Jacuzzi attached. The central area has a wet bar and an alfresco dining table in the centre, and the hardtop has openable sections to let the sunshine stream down.

INTERIOR

The lower deck features a side-loading tender garage and a spacious beach club aft.

On the main deck, the Master suite is forward and has fold-down terraces, which are also a feature of the forward main deck section.

The main salon is aft, and the dining area is placed on the upper deck.

A pair of MTU 8V 4000 M54 Diesel engines give a top speed of 17.5 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots. At 11 knots, M/Y OLOKUN has a range of 4,500 nautical miles.

The accommodation layout and capacity has yet to be revealed by the shipyard, however it is believed she has a similar layout to her sisterships, which have a 5-6 cabin layout to sleep 10-12 guests, and a crew of 9. The Master suite has a private study that can be converted into an additional en-suite cabin.
