Motor yacht AKAMA measures 26.78m (87’86’’) and was built by the Italian shipyard Azimut Yachts in 2019. Her elegant interiors were created by Salvagni Architetti, with striking exterior lines by Stefano Righini. She can accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 cabins, with an onboard crew of 3.

EXTERIOR

The main deck aft is fitted with a C-shaped sofa and raised alfresco dining table along the stern, with the rest of the space left clear for easy indoor/outdoor flow and exercise in the shade. Two stairways lead down to the lower deck swim platform and the tender garage, and a port staircase on the main deck aft connects to the flybridge above. The foredeck dining and sunbathing area is accessed via the side walkways past the interior salon.

The ample flybridge is shaded forward and amidships by the retractable sunroof, with the helm controls to starboard and a co-pilot seat adjacent. Amidships to port is the wet bar, and to starboard a C-shaped sofa and table make a desirable spot to sit back and savour the fresh air over drinks and a meal. The aft sofa arm curves around to create additional seating in the sunshine, and sun loungers look out over the stern for sweeping views of the surroundings.

INTERIOR

The guest accommodation is placed on the lower deck from the bow to the amidships section, aft of which is the crew accommodation followed by the engine room and stern tender garage.

The Master suite is forward on the main deck, with the galley forward to port, a day head amidships and the main foyer to starboard. The formal dining area seats the whole group around a large and elegant table, with natural light flooding in through the near full-height windows. The lounge consists of two armchairs and a side table beneath the starboard windows, while a pop-down widescreen TV is concealed in the ceiling above, and to port two loveseats and a larger sofa congregate around a coffee table.

Two MAN V12-1900 diesel engines of 1,900 HP each create a top speed of 29 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots, at which M/Y AKAMA has a range of 800 nautical miles.
