AL REEM

Bilgin motor yacht AL REEM (ex. Project Silence, NB78) is the third hull in the Bilgin 263 luxury yacht model, measuring 80m/263ft and constructed with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure with delivery in 2022. The naval architecture and exterior styling is the work of Unique Yacht Design, with the interior stylist yet to be announced. She differs from her previous sisterships in having a different layout, most notably the Master suite is located on the upper deck forward placing the helm controls instead on the top deck. The accommodation provides for up to 12 guests over 8 en-suite cabins, with a crew of 25 for exceptional on board service.

EXTERIOR

A large swim platform is connected to the main deck aft by two large stairways, and here a glass-sided swimming pool is placed in the centre with sunbeds placed on both sides. A C-shaped sofa is placed under the shade of the upper deck overhang with a table and chairs for casual outdoor relaxation with hobbies or for meals.

The upper deck aft has an aft-facing L-shaped sofa accompanied by a coffee table in each corner, and in the centre there is a loveseat forward and aft of a drinks table. The upper deck forward, meanwhile, has a curved sofa placed in the shade of the bridge deck overhang, and a raised table and additional chairs make a comfortable setting for alfresco dining in front of the Master suite. A large sofa/sunbed is placed to port and starboard farther forward, and the bow sections open up to reveal the tender garage within.
Up on the bridge deck, the central section contains the interior helm station while behind there are sun loungers, a drinks table and four chairs, and forward a sunbed to starboard, a curved sofa and drinks table to port and a Jacuzzi with commanding views of the surroundings.

INTERIOR

The interior uses a pale but varied colour palette that makes use of different textures to manipulate the light and create inviting contemporary spaces.

The lower deck hosts the guest and crew accommodation, with a spacious beach club in the stern containing a spa centre and gym, and providing a lounge perfect for social gatherings close to the water. A glass lift (elevator) provides access to all decks.
On the main deck, the spacious main salon and formal dining area are combined to form one large flowing space. The formal dining area seats all 12 guests in an intimate environment, where a TV wall acts as a divide and screen between the lounge. Plush sofas are placed to port and starboard with a coffee table at the centre and armchairs forward.

The upper deck places the Master suite forward, behind which is the foyer followed by a beautiful skylounge where a stately wet bar with comfortable stools has a wide selection of spirits and soft drinks to suit everyone’s tastes. The circular lounge has a curving sofa beneath the windows on both sides of the room, with coffee tables and drinks tables adding to the symmetry and a covered ottoman that acts as an additional seat at the centre of the room.

A pair of MTU 16V 4000M73 engines producing 2,560 kW create a top speed of 20 knots, a cruising speed of 15 knots and a range of up to 6,000 nautical miles when cruising at economical speed.
