MAJESTY 120

Unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show 2019, the MAJESTY 120 luxury yacht measures 37m/120ft and is the first yacht in the MAJESTY series to have 100% electrically operated systems on board. The naval architecture and exterior styling was produced by the in-house team at Majesty Yachts, while the interiors come from Cristiano Gatto, who also worked on the MAJESTY 175 and MAJESTY 140 models, the latter taking two awards (among them ‘Best Interior Design’) at the World Yachts Trophies 2019. The accommodation is designed for up to 11 guests in five large en-suite cabins, with a professional crew of seven on hand for first-class service. The first hull is due for launch in March 2020.

Constructed with a GRP hull and superstructure her reduced weight produces excellent manoeuvrability and a draft of 2m/7ft perfect for accessing the best spots in the Bahamas and other shallow cruising grounds. Her amenities include an on-board Jacuzzi, a hybrid beach club that can convert to tender storage and a VIP stateroom on the lower deck that can instead be used as an additional lounge.

EXTERIOR

The lower deck swim platform provides direct access to the beach club, which can be converted into a tender garage for convenience. Guests have access to the main deck aft via two stairways, and here there is a broad sunbed along the stern that attaches to a forward-facing C-shaped sofa and raised table for alfresco dining.
The upper deck has an alfresco dining table placed under the shade of the sundeck overhang and to the aft on both sides there is a sofa and drinks tables for cos conversation while taking in the magnificent views. On the foredeck guests have a sofa and drinks table in front of the helm station and farther toward two curving sofas and a drinks table for relaxed group gatherings. The bow section is used for storing the motorised water toys and frees up space in the tender garage/beach club.

Up on the sundeck, there is space to the aft for sun loungers, plus a central raised Jacuzzi for soaking in the sunshine. The shaded amidships section offers a wet bar and alfresco lounge and dining area. The sheltered forward section can be used in a variety of weather conditions and places three sofas in a forward-facing crescent.

INTERIOR

The lower deck layout places the crew accommodation in the bow, followed by the guest accommodation, engine room and finally the beach club/tender garage.

On the main deck the Master suite is located forward, then the galley and main foyer which lead into the formal dining area to seat 12. This open plan environment places a salon at the stern with the furnishings of L-shaped sofas, coffee tables and a pair of armchairs creating a symmetrical setting down both sides of the room.

The upper deck helm station comes furnished with a sofa and table for guests to take in the forward views in comfort. The Captain’s cabin and foyer is amidships, then the cosy and ambient skylounge fitted with curving seating to the aft, armchairs and coffee tables to create a casual and desirable setting usable by the whole group at once.

All but the engines and generators are electrically powered on board the MAJESTY 120, with more details to come on her cruising speed, top speed and range.
