HULL BM006

Hull BM006 is the sixth MEDITERRANEO 116 model from the series by Italian shipyard Benetti. She measures 35.5m/116ft and has an exterior design by Giorgio M. Cassetta and interiors designed by Benetti. The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 10 guests over five en-suite cabins, with a crew of seven to ensure that everything runs smoothly on board.

EXTERIOR

The transom door on the lower deck swim platform folds down to create a large space beside the water, and two sets of stairways connect to the main deck aft, where there is a sofa along the stern plus two armchairs around a table for casual alfresco meals.

Side walkways lead around to stairs that lead up to the foredeck, which has a sofa, drinks table, double sunbeds and the crowning feature of a spa pool farther forward with space on the bow for storing water toys.

The upper deck aft is sparsely furnished with an alfresco dining table, bar and two sofas along the port side and stern, leaving space in the shade for outdoor exercise.
The sundeck has sun loungers to the aft, sunbeds forward and the central section dedicated to alfresco dining and lounging with a bar on hand to provide refreshments throughout the occasion.

INTERIOR

On the lower deck, the crew accommodation is placed in the bow with the guest accommodation amidships followed by the engine room and tender garage in the stern.

The main deck hosts the Master suite forward and is accessed via a private study. Amidships is the main foyer and galley followed by the open-plan formal dining area to seat 10 and the main salon, which places a curving sofa beneath the port-side window along with an armchair and coffee table, with an additional sofa opposite.
The helm station is placed forward and has an additional seat to port where guests can watch the action or use as a quiet reading lounge while moored. Aft of the Captain’s cabin and foyer is the skylounge, which has a symmetrical setting furnished with crescent sofas, armchairs and coffee tables with a widescreen TV on the forward wall.

At 10 knots, BM006 has a cruising range of 3,000 nautical miles.
