Constructed by American shipyard Westport, the Luxury yacht WESTPORT 52 is the current flagship of American shipyard Westport as an evolution on the previous WESTPORT 50 yacht design. The WESTPORT 52 boasts a voluminous beach club with fold-down terraces, a massive swim platform, a large foredeck lounging and sunbathing space, efficient and innovative storage solutions and a choice of interior layouts to suit Owner needs.

The accommodation is designed for up to 12 guests over six en-suite staterooms, and the crew quarters can comfortably accommodate 11.

EXTERIOR

The broad and deep lower deck swim platform connects to the beach club to create a sizeable social area beside the water, and from here guests have access to the main deck aft via stairways to port and starboard as well as an additional stairway within the beach club.

The main deck aft is fitted with a spongy sofa/sunbed along the stern and an elegant alfresco dining table and movable chairs form a desirable outdoor setting serviced by a forward wet bar and sheltered by the upper deck overhang.

Side passageways lead to stairways the connect around to stairways that connect to the foredeck, which is a massive sun-drenched lounging and sunbathing area consisting of a massive forward-facing C-shaped sofa to seat all 12 guests, a central sunbed and two additional broad sunbeds closer to the bow. The space beneath the sunbeds is used to store Scuba diving gear, jet skis and Seabobs.
The upper deck aft is a tranquil shaded area for alfresco dining as a group, with a starboard stairway leading down to the bar and seating for relaxation close to the water after meals.

Up on the sundeck, the curving forward section is covered in sofa/sunbeds and from the raised Jacuzzi guests have uninterrupted forward views of the surroundings. Amidships the hardtop forms a shaded alfresco dining and lounging space with a bar, and the aft can be used as a helipad, or laid out with sun loungers that receive plenty of sunshine.

INTERIOR

The lower deck layout places the crew accommodation, mess and laundry facilities in the forward section, followed by the guest accommodation amidships. Behind is the engine room, then the beach club in the stern. ON both sides of the beach club there is storage for tenders and water toys, which are launched and retrieved through the large fold-down hatches that can be used as an extension of the beach club once clear.

On the main deck, the Master suite with a private office/lounge is placed forward and behind is the galley, food storage and main foyer followed by the main salon. Inside, the formal dining area is placed forward a central cabinet concealing a pop-up TV divides this section from the plush sofas, armchairs and coffee tables that make up the lounge.

The helm station can be found on the upper deck forward, and there is a large sofa behind the Captain’s chair for guests to sit and watch the action or for use as a reading room while anchored in a quiet bay.

The Captains cabin and office is amidships, then the pantry and VIP stateroom with en-suite bathroom. The skylounge to the aft is furnished with a wet bar and an abundance of seating.

The engines draw from a fuel reserve of 69,650 litres to produce a top speed of 22 knots, a cruising speed of 16-18 knots and an economical speed of 10 knots. An additional 3,800 litres is stored on board for refuelling the helicopter.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Depending on which layout the Owner selects, the accommodation can sleep a maximum of 12 guests over 6 en-suite staterooms: 1 Master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins.

The Master suite is located on the main deck forward and in addition to the king-sized bed is furnished with a walk-in wardrobe/dressing room, an office, a bedroom lounge, a fold-down port-side terrace and his-and-hers bathrooms with a shower and central bathtub.

A choice of layouts allows for a cabin such as the VIP stateroom to be placed on the upper deck, complete with en-suite facilities. Alternatively, the spare room could be used as an additional social area that converts into a spare cabin with a Pullman berth.

The lower deck will host the remaining guest cabins, with the double cabins placed aft of amidships and the twin cabins forward. The double cabins are placed side-by-side to port and starboard. Each come with a desk/vanity, a generous wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom with a toilet, sink and shower.

All cabins come with contemporary AV entertainment systems.
The crew accommodation, mess and facilities are also located on the lower deck and provide for up to 11 pax.
