YS 6911

The 69.15m (226’10”) YS 6911 support vessel series from Damen Yachts is constructed with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure and designed for Owners looking for helicopter and dive centre capabilities while also retaining long-distance roaming capacity for which the shipyard is known. A sea axe bow ensures that YS 6911 vessels such as  GAME CHANGER, ‘6711’ and GARÇON are capable of tackling rough sea conditions at full power, with accommodation on board for 22 crew and staff for safe journeys and comprehensive exploration of each destination.

EXTERIOR

An observation area is available above the wheelhouse on the bridge deck, while behind stairs lead down to the upper deck where the motorised and submersible vehicles are stored. A deck crane or A-frame will be installed to ensure easy launch and retrieval, and when the area is clear it can be used for sunbathing and outdoor lounging. A helipad is placed at bridge deck level to the aft and is accessed via two staircases. Able to host a 5t-class single helicopter, the helicopter workshop below supports refuelling and reconditioning on board.

The hangar facility can instead be replaced by a dive centre fitted with a certified double-lock decompression chamber, a high-pressure and enriched air production facility and a filling station for Scuba dive cylinders.

On the main deck, guests have access to the aft sections from the forward guest accommodation via an outer walkway on either side.

INTERIOR

The interior contains a 90m²/968ft² VIP lounge, offices, an extensively equipped galley, a fitness centre, a hospital and accommodation for 22 crew and staff.

Quadruple MTU 16V 4000 M63L engines provide a maximum speed of 20 knots with a range of 4,500 nautical miles at 16 knots.
