Baltic 85 ‘Y’

Sailing yacht Y is a Baltic 85 Custom from Baltic Yachts delivered in 2018. The naval architecture is designed by Bill Dixon Yacht Design and is constructed with an E glass outer skin, a carbon inner and a foam core. The interiors are styled by Mark Whiteley Design and use pear wood for a light finish against pure white fabrics in both the shared guest areas and the cabins, which sleep up to six guests over three cabins.

EXTERIOR

The cockpit provides a comfortable area for guests to rest and dine alfresco. The helm station is placed aft with room to the stern for access to the sea. The foredeck is left clear for use as an additional sunbathing area, observation deck or exercise such as yoga or Tai Chi.

INTERIOR

The main salon is a spacious and light-filled environment where up to six guests can relax on the corner sofa or dine in style at the raised table with sofa seating and additional chairs. Storage space is plentiful throughout the rooms, with cabinetry and drawers finished in pear wood for a light yet detailed appearance. The accommodation is placed forward and aft of the salon.

In addition to a lifting keel and sloop rig for excellent performance and manoeuvrability, sailing yacht Y comes equipped with a bank of 30 Lithium-ion 24-volt service batteries with a large 2200 amp/hr capacity.
