Hull 10228

HULL 10228 is a 48m/157ft luxury yacht and sistership to ANDIAMO, constructed in 2018 at the Baglietto S.p.A shipyard with an exterior design by Francesco Paszkowski. The interiors were also completed by Francesco Paszkowski in conjunction with Baglietto S.p.A and the contemporary-styled accommodation sleeps up to 12 guests over five spacious cabins.

NOTABLE FEATURES OF HULL 10228

  • Elegant contemporary decor
  • Lift/elevator connecting the floors
  • Massive outdoor relaxation areas
  • Skylounge cinema
  • Extensive sunbathing and alfresco dining areas
  • Massive beach club with adjacent gym

EXTERIOR

The lower deck transom door lowers to create a massive swim platform and sunbathing area beside the plush interior beach club. Stairs provide easy access to the main deck aft, where a broad sunpad faces aft for sea views and a C-shaped casual alfresco dining section looks inward to the main salon.

A glamorous alfresco dining area to seat 12 is placed on the upper deck aft and guests can take in sweeping views while dining in the shade. Near the stern there is one inward-facing L-shaped sofa and one outward-facing L-shaped sofa for separate conversations while remaining close to the main gathering.

Another sunbathing area is placed on the foredeck with a large sunpad, while the sundeck above provides the most outdoor facilities on board. The sundeck aft is fitted with an expansive Jacuzzi with a glass side to the stern and easy access via a series of steps. A large shaded alfresco dining area is located centre and after a lavish meal guests can nap on the broad sunpads behind or on the sundeck forward, or share drinks and conversation in the armchairs near the wet bar.

INTERIOR

The elegant interiors from Francesco Paszkowski use a restrained palette and plenty of natural materials in shared and private guest spaces.

The lower deck contains an expansive beach club to the aft with room behind for gym. The engine room is aft of centre, with the guest accommodation of two VIP staterooms and two twin cabins forward. The crew accommodation is located in the bow.

The main deck forward contains a spacious full-beam Master suite with expansive his-and-hers bathrooms, a widescreen TV on the forward wall and a starboard lounge. For greater privacy a study and walk-in wardrobe separate the Master suite from the main foyer, aft of which is a large interior that hosts the formal dining area and main salon.

Extensive glazing creates a bright interior which opens up to the main deck aft for fresh air. The wooden wall panelling and flooring in the formal dining area is contrasted by white fabrics to further emphasize the interior space, while the metallic dividing wall with an integrated widescreen TV adds a contemporary element.

A second Widescreen TV is placed on the other side of the dividing wall- which guests can watch from the L-shaped sofa or the armchairs while enjoying the drinks selection from the aft bar.

On the upper deck the helm station is positioned forward with the Captain’s cabin amidships. To the aft the skylounge doubles as a cinema with a cosy C-shaped sofa facing a widescreen TV, while glass sliding doors open out onto the upper deck aft.

Quotes

“We have the honour and burden of having to preserve some of Baglietto’s historical elements and stylistic features, while also reviving and renovating the fiery, passionate spirit that has made this brand truly special over the decades,” – Comments founder Federico Santa Maria

“When you do a creative job, intuition is most important. Good ideas can be inspired anytime from very different sources. Trying to design the most beautiful boat ever and make your customer happy to own her, means every boat becomes special for a designer. however, according to every designer’s opinion, the most beautiful boat is always the next one you’re going to design!” – Francesco Paszkowski
