TRULY CLASSIC 128′

The third hull in the successful Truly Classic 128’ built by Bloemsma Aluminium Bouw (for the hull) and the Pendennis shipyard in the UK measures 38,8 metres (127’29’’) and was completely designed by Hoek Design Naval Architects, including naval architecture. She is able to accommodate 6 guests in 3 cabins.

This version of the Truly Classic 128 features a single deckhouse and a steering position set well aft, as well as a unique layout and sailplane as per her owner’s request. She has a fractional sailplan providing her with a fantastic performance in light winds. The spreaders are swept back, so there is a need for only one set of runners and check-stays. The Park Avenue-type boom allows for easy handling during the sail.

Below the water, she has a torpedo-style T-bulb keel, designed with CFD (Computational fluid dynamics) and positioned slightly back so it relates to the mast step position and the machinery space positioned slightly further aft. This yacht has a spade rudder and no skeg giving her a similar righting moment to that of a J-Class, making her a powerful yacht with an exhilarating performance.

Below deck, the deckhouse saloon is located aft, featuring classical and elegant styling design by Hoek Design.
