LOUISE

Launched in 2014, sailing yacht Louise (ex Bougainville) is an elegant 72-foot racer/cruiser, constructed by the well known Dutch builder, Claasen Shipyards. The 22-metre luxury yacht Louise boasts both naval architecture as well as exterior design by Berret Racoupeau. Her interior design is by Rhoades Young.

Designed by acclaimed Rhoades Young, the beautiful interiors of Louise yacht are finished in French walnut with a subtle maple edging. There is an owner’s suite and two guest cabins situated forward, each with its own shower and toilet. Amidships is the generous saloon, dinette as well as navigation corner. The galley is situated aft, together with a two-person crew cabin and toilet.

Externally, Louise yacht is fitted with a large hydraulically operated door. When open, it serves as an amazing swim platform and a place from which to launch the tender, stored in the lazarette. There is also a lovely cockpit, furnished with a large Bimini that can easily be stored completely out of sight in the yacht’s superstructure.

Featuring an aluminium hull and a composite deck and superstructure, the 72ft luxury yacht Louise (ex Bougainville) is driven by a Yanmar 4LHA-HTP diesel engine. She features a maximum beam of 5,63m and a draught of 2,3/3,9m. Bougainville is built to MCA code for sailing yachts up to 24 m and is also CE-A certified.
