POLAR BEAR

The beautiful 2011 motor yacht Polar Bear is a 31-metre explorer, built by the US shipyard, Citadel Yachts. Polar Bear superyacht is an ideal vessel for long range cruising.

Accommodation aboard the Citadel superyacht Polar Bear is divided into 5 beautifully appointed cabins. There is a magnificent full-beam master suite on the main deck, fitted with a 52-inch flat screen TV with entertainment centre, king sized bed, as well as his and hers private baths with a large adjoining steam shower. Guests can enjoy luxurious and comfortable accommodation in two VIP staterooms, each with king-sized berths, along with two additional guest staterooms. All cabins feature spacious private heads/ensuites. Polar Bear also offers a 24-foot sport fishing boat and two RIB tenders.

Luxury expedition yacht Polar Bear is powered by twin 685-hp Caterpillar C-18B diesel engines. The vessel also features an efficient, steel displacement hull with a bulbous bow, active quad-fin stabilizers, bow and stern thrusters as well as fully protected propellers and rudders. ABS classed, Polar Bear has a maximum beam of 8,53m (27’99’) and a maximum draft of 1,98m (6’50’).

Unfortunately, the yacht was destroyed by fire in 2014.
