HEMILEA

Originally constructed in 1992, but completely rebuilt in 2002 by Baglietto and extensively refitted in 2014, motor yacht HEMILEA (ex Elsewhere, Auriga E) is a lovely 41.00m (134′ 6″) offering great spaces for up to twelve guests in six luxury cabins. She has a crew of seven on board. Her interiors were designed by Aldo Cichero.

EXTERIOR

The lower deck swim platform is a large space that allows guests to spread out with the water toys or sunbathe beside the sea. A central staircase leads up to the main deck aft, where there is a plush sofa integrated into the stern and an elevated table plus additional chairs for alfresco meals in the shade. The foredeck is dedicated to storing the motorised water toys, which can be efficiently launched and retrieved using a Davit crane.

The flybridge is the largest alfresco living space on board and there is room to the aft to store a tender with a Davit crane to launch. Two sun loungers are placed in the sunshine and a pair of symmetrical C-shaped sofas with raised tables for alfresco dining is positioned amidships beneath the hardtop shade. Forward, a sunbed is placed to port and receives excellent views and sunshine, while farther forward is the external helm controls, additional port seating and access to the raised pilothouse.

INTERIOR

The interior decor uses rich, dark wooden panelling complemented by white ceilings, carpets and furnishings to update a timeless and sophisticated appearance ideal for any special occasion or family break.

The lower deck hosts the guest accommodation as well as the crew bunks, leaving plenty of space on the main deck for a shared recreational area.

The main deck places the formal dining area forward in a glamorous environment with plenty of windows and wall lighting for ambient meals at any time of the day. To the aft, the massive salon places a large sofa and coffee tables along both walls. The port-side seating area being larger to seat all guests for a film on the widescreen TV opposite. A wet bar with a pair of stools is situated close to the doors out onto the main deck aft, ideally positioned to serve guests inside and out.

A raised pilothouse connects from the main foyer through to the forward flybridge controls for quick and efficient access.

A pair of MTU engines producing 2,300 HP allows for a top speed of 25 knots and a cruising speed of 20 knots with a range of 1,450 nautical miles.
