VENTUM MARIS

The 65.5-metre (212 foot) Amels motor yacht VENTUM MARIS (ex Imagine, Infinite Shades) was launched in 2011. Yacht ‘Imagine’ is a LIMITED EDITIONS AMELS 212 superyacht, as built in Holland. Behind the success of this yacht is not only Amel’s build quality but Tim Heywood, who designed her exterior lines, and Andrew Winch’s who was responsible for the boats interior decor and design.

Yacht VENTUM MARIS has a bold contemporary exterior, shaped for eye-catching beauty by the renowned British designer Tim Heywood. Heywood conceived M/Y VENTUM MARIS with qualities every guest desires: high volume, exceptional indoor accommodations and social spaces, and plentiful choices for luxuriant, gracious outdoor living. She floats majestically on a hull shaped by well-proven Amels naval architecture and is endowed with long-range, tranquillity, stability-at-anchor and sea kindliness.

The superyacht VENTUM MARIS offers an external arrangement that gives a variety of al-fresco dining, entertaining and relaxing opportunities at every deck level, to meet modern society’s desire for personal health, well-being and enjoyment. The Sun Deck allows quiet sunbed reclining or laid-back fresh-air dining. Her large swimming pool with Spa Pool, jet stream, wet-feet bar and mini-beach offer further choices for more intense workouts or totally agreeable escape. On this deck is a Sky gym which selected exercise equipment is supplemented by an adjoining steam room and day head.

The broader Bridge Deck below has a similarly large dining alcove adjoining the dramatic Sky Lounge, cooled and protected by the Sun Deck overhang shadow. While forward, in front of the wheelhouse, a cosy nook awaits guests who prefer to have their breakfast in quiet outdoor seclusion. On her Main Deck, uncommon full-height windows, with narrow non-obstructing mullions, and a radiant dining-room enclosure of crystal-clear glass, bring natural light and infinite views to guests taking their pleasures.

M/Y VENTUM MARIS has an extended swim platform serving as an ideal outdoor Beach club. Expansive teak decking brings the club inside, where a bar, entertainment system, day head and shower complete the amenities.

The VENTUM MARIS yacht has an interior layout plan which is intended for majestic roominess and desirable intimacy. Forward on her Main Deck, the full-width master suite—with deluxe bath, dressing room and office. Among her most exceptional features are two elegant VIP suites set comfortably amidships on the Bridge Deck, each with a balcony Parisien which opens the space to fresh sea air and vivid sea views. On the Lower Deck, four grand suites accommodate guests. Two are planned as full doubles of which one could be considered as a third VIP suite, while the other two can be alternately configured as twin or double suites.

The Amels 212 motor yacht VENTUM MARIS features a centrally located glass elevator which enables easy and elegant access to all parts of the Amels Imagine yacht, such as her ‘wet feet’ bar (as positioned on the sun deck) and the large Beach Club (located at the boat’s stern). This central elevator serves guests from the Lower to the Sun Deck, in parallel with a spiral staircase serving all decks. There is also ample storage for a range of beach toys and also for two 8.5m tenders.
