M/Y CARPE DIEM II (ex Carpe Diem) is a 45m (149′ 7″) 2002 Trinity Yachts design which has been completely refitted this in 2006 in mahogany and pale furnishings. The luxury yacht’s interior designing was undertaken by Carol Williamson & Associates. Accommodation is offered for up to 10 guests in 5 cabin.

EXTERIOR

Guests arriving by tender can ascend to the main deck via the staircases, where a plush outdoor sofa and raised table provides guests with a place to dine alfresco and rest out of the sun.

Up to eight guests can dine alfresco in style on the upper deck aft and watch a film on one of the outdoor plasma TVs, then settle into the seating along the bow for after-dinner drinks and conversation. In front of the helm station, there is a Portuguese deck where guests can sit and watch the changing landscape while dining alfresco in small groups.

Above, the sundeck forward hosts a spectacular Jacuzzi for easing tired muscles while enjoying a cocktail from the central bar. The L-shaped lounge is ideal for dining and spending time on hobbies in the sunshine, while the aft sundeck stores the tenders. When the tenders are in use, this cleared area can be used for sunbathing or for entertaining.

INTERIOR

The majority of the guest accommodation is located on the lower deck and consists of three VIP staterooms, one with a large lounge that can be sealed off for use as a twin cabin. Farther forward, the crew accommodation sleeps eight.

The full-beam Master suite is located on the main deck and treats guests to their own private lounge as well as a spacious Master cabin and en-suite.

The Main salon continues the timeless styling, which sees white upholstery used as a contrast against rich wooden panelling. Dine in the sophisticated formal dining room to celebrate a special occasion with friends and family, then settle into the main salon sofas for conversation and drinks from the bar.

Entertain in the upper deck sky lounge, where the bar will supply refreshments while guests watch a film on the widescreen TV or play games at the cards table near the doors leading out onto the aft deck.
