Amels and Damen Yachts have announced a busy start to the New Year at Vlissingen city in the Netherlands, with 26 luxury yacht projects currently in production including the 78m/255.9ft Amels Full Custom superyacht, which will become the shipyard’s largest vessel by volume on completion in 2021.

This 78M AMELS FULL CUSTOM superyacht arrived at the Vlissingen facility for outfitting from the hull building facility Damen Shipyards Galati on the Danube River, and she is the first fully-custom project since introducing the Limited Editions range in 2005. Her final volume will be 2,850 GT, which is larger than the current Amels flagship, 83m/272ft motor yacht HERE COMES THE SUN at 2,827 GT.

The outfitting facilities are at work on 13 luxury yachts, including four LIMITED EDITIONS vessels, two DAMEN SEAXPLORERS and five luxury yachts receiving refits.
