The largest AMELS superyacht to date has hit the water at the DAMEN Shipyards’ facility on the Danube. The successful technical launch of this 78-metre vessel marks a significant milestone in the construction progress with delivery scheduled for 2021. Designed by Espen Oeino CUSTOM 78M AMELS superyacht has an internal volume of 2,850 GT.

The upper deck swimming pool is hidden from the public’s eyes. The foredeck provides fantastic views of the surroundings and offers an opportunity to relax in the Jacuzzi and sunbath on the large sunbed. On the main deck aft, the outdoor living area is shaded by the upper deck overhang. The lower deck swim platform is designed to provide easy access to the water and sunbathing.

CUSTOM 78M AMELS was sold at the Monaco Yacht Show 2017, where the owner appointed Espen Oeino as the exterior designer and Zuretti Interior Design to develop the interiors.
Espen says: “It’s definitely a unique project and it was an intense collaboration with AMELS and I think it’s been an amazing journey so far since signing the contract in 2017.”

This custom 78 motor yacht is yet to undergo the outfitting stage at the AMELS facilities in the Netherlands.
