Italian shipyard Otam has announced that the custom open yacht OTAM 85 GTS CARA MONTANA has successfully launched ahead of schedule, and has reached top speed greater than that put forward in the contract.

The motor yacht is the result of a collaboration with Marine Design & Services, who worked with the shipyard throughout the many stages of the build, from research and development through to design and engineering. Joseph Dirand produced her made-to-measure interior styling, which includes a second Master suite amidships and a salon.
The main deck opens up to an exterior cockpit with a plush sofa and table for alfresco lounging and dining. Behind, there are double sunbeds that benefit from panoramic views, and an open transom provides easy access to the water. The foredeck can be customised for each Owner with more sunbeds or a second alfresco dining spot.

The OTAM 85 GTS luxury yacht is capable of a top speed and cruising speed above the respective 45 knots and 35 knots set out in the contract and will make her public debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival which takes place from the 10th to the 15th of September 2019.
