M/Y WHITE RABBIT, which holds the titles of world’s largest aluminium yacht, world’s largest luxury trimaran and largest yacht ever built in Australia, reached a top speed of 18.7 knots using 5,000 kW of power and running house loads on board. Running on only two 1,000 kW generators she is capable of reaching 13.7 knots at full power and 12.8 knots at 75% power, burning just 440 litres of fuel per hour at the latter setting, making her even more tempting for a potential buyer.

Built by Echo Yachts, WHITE RABBIT features the naval architecture of One2Three, with Sam Sorgiovanni working on the interior and exterior design. The furniture comes from Alia in Turkey, and Exclusive Coatings produced the painting and fairing. Rolls Royce and Kongsberg/STADT worked together to develop the propulsion system.

The three hulls provide excellent stability while cruising and it is reported by Echo Yachts Director Mark Stothard that the big ride control foils dampen the sea motions ‘very effectively’.

Superyacht WHITE RABBIT is expected to be delivered in the next couple of weeks.
