Following successful sea trials, Numarine has revealed details on its first hull in the Numarine 26XP series, motor yacht Gioia.
Gioia – exterior
One of the main features of the compact 26m/85ft expedition yacht Gioia is the large flybridge of over 16m/52ft, covering two thirds of the hull’s length to provide a spacious outdoor entertaining area. Three sofas surround a coffee table on the aft and a dining area is placed under the forward hardtop.
Gioia – running
The main deck offers a secluded bow area with three sofas surrounded by high gunwales, while to the aft a large alfresco dining table is placed under the flybridge hardtop and generous sunpads line the bow. The stern has a fold-down swim platform that creates a large sunbathing space beside the water.

The interiors use a bright modern colour scheme using grey shades and accents in red and blue. The main salon to the aft places the formal dining area near the glass sliding doors and the forward lounge has two large sofas with drinks tables for a casual entertaining space. An additional dining area is placed forward near the stairs leading down to the guest cabins. The accommodation provides four large cabins: 1 Master suite, 2 VIP staterooms and a twin cabin, all with en-suite facilities.

The semi-planing hull uses twin MAN 1550 HP engines and reached a top speed of up to 28 knots at sea trials. She has since been delivered to her owner. The second hull will have a lithium-ion battery for powering on board systems up to 12 hours without generators. Both the second, third and fourth hulls in the series will be displacement yachts to be launched before the end of 2018.
