The renowned Dutch shipyard Heesen has released interior images of 50m/163ft hybrid superyacht HOME (ex.PROJECT NOVA) ahead of her debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show at the start of November. The all-aluminium yacht uses the Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) designed by Van Oossanen Naval Architects.

The owner was attracted to luxury yacht HOME due to her shallow draft of 2.1 meters which is ideal for cruising in the Caribbean and Bahamas and will be their first Heesen superyacht.
“The client was attracted to this project for several reasons including its unique and modern exterior as well as its modern, high-tech interior design,” commented Thom Conboy from Heesen Yachts USA.

Cristiano Gatto was brought on board to complete the interiors after M/Y HOME was sold, following a rigid colour scheme of white, grey and silver with burgundy accents. The windows are nearly full-length to fill the interiors with plenty of natural light for bright living spaces that show off the finishes at their best. The L-shaped sofa makes a comfortable TV area close to the forward formal dining area that benefits from the expansive windows for close views of each destination.

The sundeck contains a translucent Corian bar nearly 5m/16ft in length, plus a circular spa pool is located on the sundeck aft.
A range of materials were used to create distinctive living spaces based on function, with brushed spruce and grey Koto woodwork for the decks and furniture. In the en-suite bathrooms, Nero Setta and Bianco Neve marbles are used for a stately and striking contrast.
