On the penultimate day of the Monaco Yacht Show, Tankoa Yachts has announced its plans to build a 49.9 superyacht by the name of PROJECT ELETTRA (Hull S502), an all-aluminium MYC and LY3 compliant luxury yacht due for launch in 2019.

Francesco Paszkowski will complete her exterior design while the interior will be completed by Studio Francesco Rogantin. Current features incorporated into the layout include a sundeck Jacuzzi and a side-loading tender garage that leaves room for a spacious beach club aft.

ELETTRA will feature a 9.4m/30.8ft beam for a balanced interior while maintaining performance and a weight below the 500GT threshold. Her accommodation sleeps up to 12 guests across 6 cabins, including an Owner’s cabin on the main deck, plus 3 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. Fold-out balconies on the port and starboard sides of the main deck owner’s cabin provide private terraces to the suite occupants.

Her diesel-electric hybrid power comes from a pair of 1,200hp MTU 8V4000 M54 engines and a battery bank with a range of 3,400 nautical miles while cruising at 12 knots. Able to switch between modes, she is capable of a top speed of 18 knots when using diesel only, and while using electric power ELETTRA cruises silently at 8 knots for a peaceful night’s sleep while moving to your next destination.

PROJECT ELETTRA sistership VERTIGE was recently on display at the Monaco Yacht Show and Tankoa Yachts is currently building S701, a 72m/236ft superyacht due for launch next year.
