47m/154ft sailing yacht ASOLARE (ex.SCHEHERAZADE) is available in the Mediterranean this summer. Built by Hodgdon Yachts in 2000, she features the exterior styling talents of Bruce King Yacht Design and the interior was completed by Winch Design.

Last refitted in 2013, her interior salon split over 2 levels remains a contemporary delight, both bright and welcoming for the whole family. The interior is crafted from walnut and sycamore woods for a light interior with dark accents for effect.

Designed for function as well as form, no amount of space is wasted and cabinets filled with a fine selection of alcoholic drinks sit side by side with paintings and wooden sculptures following a marine motif. From the upper salon, guests can watch the sky change colour through the glass panelled ceiling for 180° views.

The formal dining area seats up to 6 guests in classic surroundings that are perfectly suited to special occasions and small celebrations.

Guests looking to spend as much time above deck as possible while on their cruise will find alfresco dining in the cockpit spread over two separate tables. The table and seating arrangement also makes this a great place to relax with reading material or surf the web using the on board wi-fi.

A second cockpit towards the aft leads from the sumptuous outdoor seating down into the brightly-lit Master suite. The guests who sleep in this cabin will also enjoy the benefits of a private lounge and ‘his and hers’ office as well as an en-suite bathroom.

Towards the bow, there is ample space for sunbathing or exercises such as Pilates and yoga. Once you reach your seaside destination, the on board collection of water toys will entertain friends and family of all ages with a selection that includes water skis, a kitesurfer, a paddleboard, snorkelling equipment, fishing equipment and an inflatable trampoline.
