Both built by the prestigious Taiwan-based shipyard Horizon Yachts, the V80 and the new open bridge E88 have been announced as the winners of the 24th annual Taiwan Excellence Awards. This is the 6th consecutive year that the company has been honoured with this award, with a total of nine Horizon models having won since 2010.
Horizon E88
Moreover, the E88 has been also nominated for the prominent Taiwan Excellence Gold Award, the highest of the awards’ three categories. If she wins the prize, she will represent the third Horizon model to receive such an accolade, following the Horizon PC60 in 2015 and the Horizon EP148 (example is Horizon Polaris) in 2014.
Horizon V80
Destined for owner operation, the 2015 Horizon E88 boasts an open flybridge design, flexible layout and plenty of options, including the addition of a beach club or skylounge. The 2015 Horizon V80 model features a versatile cockpit and generous swim platform, new foredeck seating area, single-level main deck and a spacious interior highlighted by oversized Low-E glass windows. She also offers many customizable design options, and is available in open flybridge or skylounge versions. Both models were recognized for their innovation in space planning as well as functionality.
