Feadship has just released a great video, showing the massive and highly innovative 60,35-metre superyacht ROCK.IT, mixing up space-age looks with traditional comforts. An entirely bespoke project, the 2015-launched ROCK.IT is fast from the outside and cozy on the inside. She boasts the first-time application on a luxury vessel of an intuitive control and maneuvering system developed for naval applications.
ROCK.IT (hull 687) is fitted with such revolutionary technology as the installation of a unique control system that includes a semi-DP autopilot system. Thanks to this, the vessel is able to keep its heading at anchor, hovering on the main engine and the thrusters. Optimal use of the various maneuvering modes is made by means of a three-axis steering joystick with a rotational factor.
