November 6, 2015 saw Suntex Marina Investors LLC acquire the Ocean Marine Yacht Center in Portsmouth, Virginia from Ocean Marine, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Valiant Holdings. The company will enhance megayacht repair and marina facilities at Ocean Marine, and will operate the newly named Ocean Yacht Marina.

Jim Bento of Valiant Holdings will continue to operate Ocean Marine Yacht Center via a leaseback of the megayacht repair facilities. The combined branding, marketing and operational proficiencies of both companies are expected to increase employment, with particular emphasis within yacht trades.

A full-service marine yard at Ocean Marine is capable of handling yachts measuring up to 93m (305’) in length. There is also a state-of-the-art refit and paint facility with over 50,000sq. ft. of indoor, climate controlled bays, in addition to a 90-ton travel lift, two 20-ton forklifts and a 1,250-ton Syncrolift.
