The prestigious World Superyacht Awards 2016 will be hosted by the beautiful city of Florence, nestled in the lovely Italy yacht holiday location – Tuscany. The 11th annual World Superyacht Awards gala evening will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016.

Considered the birthplace of the Renaissance, the city is known for its culture, architecture, Renaissance art, as well as numerous monuments. Whether passing the time away in captivating art galleries or strolling from one lovely palazzo to another, Florence is a fantastic city to explore.
First introduced in 2005, the World Superyacht Awards recognise the ingenuity and innovation demanded by the construction of the world’s best luxury yachts. With the support of Navigo, Tuscany’s largest network of yachting industry companies, the 2016 awards will be hosted by one of the world’s most beautiful cities.
Nominations for the 2016 World Superyacht Awards are now open, and will close on November 29, 2015. To qualify, all yachts must be over 30 metres in length and have been handed over to their owners between January 1, 2015 and December 31, 2015.
