Take a glimpse at the second Damen Sea Axe fast support vessel ADVANTAGE, before its conversion into a luxury Superyacht Support Vessel. Released by Oceania Marine, the drone video below shows the 53-metre ADVANTAGE on slipway at North Shipyard, Port Whangarei, New Zealand, before entering Refit/Paint Shed C to start its major conversion.
Scheduled for completion before Christmas, the extensive conversion of ADVANTAGE yacht support vessel will include lengthening of the vessel, by fitting a new module to the transom, various hull modifications to receive a new large deck crane, internal structural modifications to tankage and general arrangements, a helicopter pad and a new submarine garage. Moreover, the vessel will also receive a new interior fit out, full exterior re-pain and many other modifications as well as additions.
