Works are currently underway on the expansion of the Reef Marina in Port Douglas, a fantastic Australia yacht vacation destination. The expansion will see the luxury yacht marina feature thirty new 22-metre and 30-metre berths.

Expansion is being undertaken in two phases. Phase one is being constructed by Queensland family-owned business, The Jetty Specialist, with completion scheduled by August. Phase one will cost almost $3 million, bringing to over $5 million the amount that has been invested in the Reef Marina’s upgrade program over the last 18 months.

The Reef Marina presently features 115 berths that can accommodate yachts measuring up to 24m in length, in addition to one berth for a 36-metre superyacht.
