South Africa-based shipyard, Southern Wind, is proud to announce that the superb SW102 sailing yacht Farfalla has won the World Superyacht Award 2015 in the ‘30m to 44.99m Sailing Yacht’ category. Superyacht Farfalla represents the first Raised Saloon version of the SW102, beautifully designed by Nauta Yacht Design and Farr Yacht Design.

The judges recognized luxury yacht Farfalla as “an exclusive combination of high quality and good value, providing her owner with the opportunity to cruise the oceans in comfort and safety, as well as the possibility to participate in keenly contested racing”.

The most notable features aboard Farfalla yacht include a geneorus flush deck, a tender garage for a 4m dinghy and a mainsail captive winch, making her the ideal cruising yacht. The interior design follows Southern Wind’s most popular layout, with the Owner’s cabin forward, three guest cabins amidships and crew quarters aft.
A sister ship to Farfalla superyacht, the SW102#04 sailing yacht Seawave is due to be delivered to her owner in Cape Town in July 2015. She will make her world debut at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival and Monaco Yacht Show.
