Soldiers Point Marina, a lovely Australia yacht charter destination, nestled in Port Stephens, New South Wales, continues to remain the only superyacht marina on Australia’s eastern seaboard to achieve the prominent international Level 4 ISO 14001 Clean Marinas Program status, following recent successful completion of the rigorous annual re-accreditation process. The marina provides 100 berths suitable for vessels ranging from 7 metres up to 45 metres in length.

The independently audited reaccreditation ensures that the 2013-2014 Australian Marina of the Year continues to maintain the world standard for marina environmental management processes and practices.

The initiative forms part of the MIA‘s Clean Marinas Program of which Soldiers Point Marina achieved in 2012 the highest level possible – Level 4 (ISO 14001) – world standard for environmental management systems.

“As one of very few marinas in Australia to achieve this highest level of accreditation, our reaccreditation demonstrates how seriously we take our environmental responsibilities at Soldiers Point Marina,” said Marina General Manager Darrell Barnett CMM.
