The leading German builder, Blohm+Voss, has unveiled their all-new motor yacht BV80 in a short video below, released on August 26, 2014. Luxury mega yacht BV80 is a striking 80-metre semi-custom vessel, developed in partnership with Eidsgaard Design. More details about this breath-taking yacht will be unveiled at next month’s Monaco Yacht Show, running at the beautiful Mediterranean yacht charter destination – Monaco from September 24 to 27.
Over the past 137 years Blohm+Voss has built almost 1,000 extraordinary vessels, including many fully custom, iconic superyachts, always with an unwavering obsession with quality. In conjunction with Eidsgaard in London, the company has researched and developed the stunning, semi-custom 80m BV80 yacht – a design that incorporates their innovative engineering.
The BV80 superyacht combines proven engineering with flexibility. While the hull, machinery and superstructure are pre-engineered, there are many areas and elements that can be customised to the owner’s personal requirements. This is not a mere ‘concept’. Following a long period of detailed, behind-closed-doors planning, the first BV80 is already at an advanced stage of development.
