Cannes Yachting Festival, set to be hosted by the glamorous Cannes yacht charter destination from September 9 to 14, is delighted to announce that the largest yacht at this year’s event will be the breath-taking new 55m Benetti motor yacht Ocean Paradise. With market intelligence stating an increase in demand for yachts from 25m plus, Cannes Yachting Festival leads the way for those interested in the world’s best boats – with both sails and engines, mono and multi-hulls, varying in size between 5 – 55m.

Formerly known as Festival de la Plaisance de Cannes, the rebranded Cannes Yachting Festival, sees some the world’s finest shipyards present their latest releases in the Vieux Port, including the Mythos 122 yacht SOL from Riva, the fleet’s largest and first to be constructed from aluminium, the solar powered Shipman 59 by Seaway Yachts, the new Beneteau Oceanis 60 for super slick sailing, the premiere of the Hardtop Otam 58 Crazy Too superyacht chase boat and the ultimate boy’s toy Frauchser’s 747 Mirage yacht tender.

At the opposite end of the Croisette, in the recently renovated Port Pierre Canto, guests of the festival can look to buy fifty second-hand yachts exhibited by the world’s most important brokers and see a combination of motor and sail charter yachts, for example luxury charter yacht Let It Be (Heesen Yachts) from Burgess and sailing yacht Inmocean (Fitzroy Yachts) from Denison.

Cannes Yachting Festival takes place each year in the glittering Bay of Cannes. This year sees major renovations to Cannes’ marinas being completed and looks set to welcome over 50,000 visitors to the show. In addition to the charter boats, second-hand boats and world premieres from the famous shipyards, guests will also be able to enjoy new spaces for day-boats, Toys and RIBS, purchase gear in the Equipment Village as well as wander the new Shopping Village selling lifestyle brands.
